Yesterday in Math

Yesterday in Geometry, I learned that even when I think I have some lessons "down pat" I can still fail a test miserably. I took a test and I received a 10.5 out of 20. But I'm going to look at the glass half filled. At least I got more than 50%. The worst part about is, is that my teacher doesn't let us do test corrections like the rest of the Geometry teachers do. whore !

Today In History

Today in history I learned that paper can be square and purple. And if the paper is not square, it can look like the state New Mexico, and it'll be alright. MY paper wont look like that. Ms. Sanchez's paper looks like that. I think she's a little touched. But don't tell her that, she controls my grades. Although, I have an F anyway.

One Word That Describes Me

One Word That Describes Me is...Different. According to Webster different is defined as "partially or totally unlike in nature, form, or quality," all of which I am. I am different than everyone and anyone, in any and every way. I am my own person. I have my own morals. I have my own beliefs. I choose to do what I want, when I want. There is no one out there is this HUGE world that is like me in every way. Yes, there may be some that are similar to me, and some may look like me. But there are none that truly fit the same mold as myself. I am, and will always be, different. And I will definitely always stay true to myself and stay true to being different.

Coraline

On Valentine's Day I went and saw Coraline....in 3D. Its a good movie and I recommend it to families or just anyone that wants to see a cool movie. I enjoyed it, although, I liked the book better. I read the book in the Eighth grade, about 2 years ago. Its one of my favorite books. The movies wasn't quite what I expected. I'm sure it was because when I read the book I pictured the story and settings differently then how they were portrayed by Tim Burton. I think the movie that played in my head when I read the book is hella better than the movie that played in theaters, if I do say so myself. haha. But that's just me...

A book series that everybody should read....

The series of Cirque Du Freak are my favorite books ever! They're written by Darren Shan. Its a a series of 12 books about vampires and the journey a young boy takes after he goes to a freak show and gets blackmailed into being bitten by a vampire.

You should read this series because it has a lot of tense and exciting events that all ends in a fantastic and blindsighting conclusion. Although the series is kind of long, it will be well worth the time.

I don't understand why....

people smoke. Cigarettes are soooo disgusting! I understand it's your body and you can do what you want with it but why are you gonna mess up your body and like take tons of years off your life and mess up your health?

While I was taking Health over the summer, I had some old, used-to-be-fat teacher from the rival school. But I remember something he would say every single day. It was something like, "If you're gonna smoke cigarettes I might as well go start up my old piece-of-junk car so you can suck on my exhaust pipe! PEOPLE!! The shit that comes out of my exhaust pipe is the same thing that you goes into your lungs when you take a drag on a cigarette! Whether its a short drag or long drag, whether its a "light" cigarette or a regular one, whether its a single cigarette or 4 packs a day, it'll end up screwing you over!" And the money you spend on cigarettes every month....holy smokes! That could be an electrical payment!

And another thing, go ahead and smoke. Just don't EVER do it around me! If you're gonna eff up your health, at least have the decency to not eff up mine too. I happen to value living and breathing with some normality.

How Do I Do This, Again?

I'm always gonna like MySpace better but this place is cool, I guess. So I'm not really into blogs and after a couple weeks I'll probably forget about this thing but I'll try to keep it up and update sometimes. It is, after all, an assignment and grade in Mr. LaCombe's World Literature Honors class.

Currently, I'm listening to music and trying my darnest to figure out this site. The templates and crap aren't my favorite things in the world....I'll survive. I choose to abort this blog, if its considered one, and do something that peeks my interest more, like, sleep. :)
